According to the official data, the highest prices for housing were traditionally recorded in thee resort town of Tsakhkadzor - AMD 322,300 per 1sq meter, with the year-on-year rise averaging 14.6%, and the monthly rise, 3.8%.
In Abovyan, the housing prices stood at AMD 220,100 pre 1sq meter, with a year-on-year rise of 16.9% and a monthly rise of 2.3%. The third leader in Vagharshapat (AMD 180,100) - a year-on-year rise of 12.4% and a monthly rise of 2.4%
The lowest prices were recorded in Tumanyan, Lori region, (AMD 21,000 per 1sq meter) - a year-on-year rise of 3.4% and a monthly rise of 5%. A little higher housing prices were recorded in Chambarak, Gegharkunik region, (AMD 36,100 per 1sq meter) - a year-on-year fall of 2.7%. in Akhtala, Lori region, the price of 1sq meter of housing was AMD 39,000 - a year-on-year rise of 11.1% and a monthly rise 2.6%.
The highest a year-on-year rise rates were recorded in Vanadzor - 23.8% up to AMD 99,000 per 1sq meter, Ashtarak - a 17.9% year-on-year rise (up to AMD 153,300 per 1sq meter) and in Spitak - a year-on-year rise of 18.6%, up to 105,000 per 1sq meter.
During the period under review, a year-on-year fall in housing prices was recorded in Sisian, Syunik region, down to AMD 82,000 per 1sq meter, with no monthly price changes. In the other communities of Syunik an average year-on-year rise of 3% in hosing prices was recorded: a 1.7% year-on-year rise in the average market price in Kapan, with a 0.9% monthly rise, up to AMD 117,100 per 1sq meter; in Goris, a 1.8% year-on-year rise and a 1.1% monthly rise up to AMD 143,500 per 1sq meter; in Kajaran, a 3.1% a 1.7% year-on-year rise and a 1% monthly rise, up to AMD 101,000 per 1sq meter; in Meghri, a 2.4% year- on-year rise and a 0.9% monthly rise, up to AMD 105,100 per 1sq meter. A total of 2,091 land deals were recorded in Armenia's regions (59.5% of the total number of deals), followed by deals with private houses (641), with flats (485), with public buildings (131), with garages (108), and with production buildings (58). A total of 572 leasing contracts were recorded in Armenia's regions - a 3.1% year-on-year increase and a 7.5% monthly increase.
