ArmInfo.Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan approved the list of state authorities and other departments that are part of the Armenian-Turkmen intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation from the Armenian side.
Thus, according to the decision of the Prime Minister of January 14, the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of Armenia was appointed chairman of the commission from the Armenian side, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, who coordinates the relevant area of the department, was appointed deputy chairman of the commission, and the Head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of the Republic of Armenia, as a secretary.
It should be noted that according to the statistical data of the Republic of Armenia, the foreign trade turnover of Armenia with Turkmenistan in January-November 2021 increased 2.7-fold - to about 12 million US dollars. At the same time, exports from Armenia increased 3.6-fold- up to about 6.4 million US dollars, and imports to the Republic of Armenia -2.1-fold, amounting to about 5.6 million US dollars.
