On January 18, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan approved the list of state authorities and other departments that are part of the Armenian-Bulgarian intergovernmental commission on economic and scientific-technical cooperation from the Armenian side, the official website of the government reports.
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, who coordinates the relevant area of the department, was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Commission, and the Head of the European Department of the RA MFA was appointed Secretary of the Commission from the Armenian side.
It should be noted that according to the statistical data of the Republic of Armenia, the foreign trade turnover of Armenia with Bulgaria in January-November 2021 increased by 40.5%, to about 221.5 million US dollars. At the same time, the growth of exports from Armenia amounted to 38.3% - up to about 193.3 million US dollars, while imports to Armenia increased by 57.9%, amounting to about 28.2 million US dollars.
