ArmInfo.Dairy products with milk fat substitutes and / or other additives in retail outlets will have to be displayed on separate shelves. The draft on making additions to the law "On Trade and Services" and the Code of Administrative Offenses is being discussed on January 19 in the parliament in the first reading.
According to Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan, separate shelves will be provided in the trading floors to distinguish dairy products from natural raw materials from those containing vegetable oil and other milk fat substitutes and other additives. These products will be legibly marked "contains milk fat substitute". The goal of the project is to protect the interests of consumers so that buyers can immediately see the composition of the dairy product they buy.
