
ArmInfo. On January 30, on the sidelines of the Expo 2020 Dubai National Day of Armenia, the Investment Support Center, RA Ministry of Economy, and the UAE Federation of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) signed a memorandum of intent.
The press service of the RA Ministry of Economy reports that the memorandum is the cornerstone of the trade ties between Abu Dhabi and Armenia, strengthen the current ties, open up new opportunities for bilateral cooperation.
The memorandum will serve as a basis for new projects. A roadmap for expanded cooperation will soon be prepared.
In January-November 2021, the Armenia-UAE trade turnover totaled $101.3mln - down by 3.9% as compared with Jan-Nov 2020. Exports totaled $67.4mln (down by 24%), and imports, $33.8mln (a 2-fold increase).
