ArmInfo. Expo-2020 is the world's largest-scale exhibition, with over 10 million visitors reported. And over 300,000 people have visited the Armenian pavilion, stated RA Deputy Minister of Economy Narek Teryan.
The focus is on Armenia's cultural and historical heritage, he said. Armenia's concept, ETHNOTECH, demonstrates culture and traditions reflected in technologies.
"Technologies have always been part of our centuries-long history," Mr Teryan said.
The interactive VR zone in the pavilion enables visitors to virtually visit the main tourist itineraries of Armenia and get acquainted with the most developed sectors.
"We attach utmost importance to emphasize our country's economic attractiveness and preferences that could be of interest to potential investors," Mr Teryan said.
He also mentioned the memorandum of intent signed by the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Enterprise Armenia, whereby the parties re-affirmed their willingness to provide interested companies with business solutions, improve the investment environment and form business grounds for closer bilateral relations. The memorandum will give new impetus to the bilateral cooperation. Expo-2020, with over 190 countries participating, opened on October 1, 2021, to last until March 31, 2022.
