
ArmInfo.Armenia's Premier Nikol Pashinyan hosted Japanese Ambassador to Armenia, Mr. Masanori Fukushima.
Mr Pashinyan highlighted the importance of expanding the bilateral cooperation in various fields. He particularly stressed a need for expanding the bilateral trade and economic ties, pointing out the Armenian government's interest in attracting Japanese investments. Mr Pashinyan highly appreciated Japan's technical aid to Armenia in the emergency and health sectors and expressed hope it will facilitate reforms in the sectors.
In his turn, Mr Masanori Fukushima stated that the Japanese government attaches high importance to developing political, economic and humanitarian relations with Armenia.
Mr. Masanori Fukushima informed Armenia's premier of the Japanese Embassy's programmes in Armenia, which are aimed at technically equipping various sectors of Armenia.
The sides also discussed issues related to a student exchange programme, cooperation in high technologies, healthcare and other fields, as well as Armenia's participant in the Expo 2025 Osaka.
