ArmInfo. As part of a working visit to the Syunik region, Deputy Minister of Territorial Infrastructure Department of Armenia Hovhannes Harutyunyan visited Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine CJSC (ZCMC).
According to the press service of the ministry, during the visit, the deputy head of the department got acquainted with the production process at the enterprise. At the same time, Hovhannes Harutyunyan was presented with the possibilities for the development of ZCMC and further plans.
In September 2021, Industrial Company JSC acquired a 60% of the shares of ZCMC and donated 25% of its share to the government of Armenia. Thus, the Armenian government became the owner of 15% of ZCMC shares, the management of which was transferred to the Armenian National Interests Fund (ANIF) from January 2022, while maintaining state ownership.
