ArmInfo.At March 23 NA sitting, the RA Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan in the first reading presented for debate in the first reading the draft law on Amending the RA Land Code. As the press service of the RA NA reports, the Minister noted that the representatives of the Builders' Association NGO voiced the problem of the expansion of the plots at the sittings of the inter-departmental working group formed by the RA Ministry of Economy.
It is proposed to remove the restriction related to the direct sale of the plots being the property of the state and the communities, which is implemented for the expansion of the plots built belonging by the right to property of the citizens or legal entities, as well as the plots of agricultural importance. The current regulation designs restriction that before the expansion there should be any construction on the plots belonging to the right of the persons' property, and a plot can be provided for the expansion of the plot.
It is proposed by the draft law to remove the mentioned two restrictions, as they create an artificial obstacle for the builders. They are often obliged to build any construction on the plot, fulfilling the formal requirement.
To Vahan Kerobyan's conviction, the adoption of the draft law would promote the decrease of the obstacles existing in the sphere and the improvement of the business environment.
Lilit Kirakosyan presented the endorsement of the Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment Protection.
