Armenia for sound investments, vice-premier states 

ArmInfo. Armenia's government pledged to form a high-tech, inclusive and export-oriented economy, Vice-Premier Hambardzum Matevosyan stated at the Annual Investment Meeting-2022 in Dubai. 

Armenia's government is encouraging foreign investments in innovative  technologies to promote economic modernization. Armenia's authorities  remain committed to their "open doors" policy and ensure transparent  and favorable conditions for investments.   

Mr Matevosyan emphasized the great efforts being made to form an  investment environment, offer foreign investors a predictable and  competitive business environment in conformity with international   standards.  Among Armenia's steadily progressing sectors is the IT  sector, which has boosted such revolutionary fields as bio- and  agricultural technologies.  

As regards the COVID-related challenges, Mr Matevosyan assured the  participants that Armenia's investment environment is convenient in  the post-pandemic world. Armenia is recording fewer and fewer COVID  cases and expecting investments from different countries. 

"Our investment experts are willing to help, and Armenia's government  will undertake a new initiative by adopting favorable laws to attract  investment from the entire world. I am saying again that we are for  sound investments and we have ample opportunities ahead," Mr  Matevosyan said.
