Russian Air Transport Agency extends ban on flights to airports in  southern Russia until April 13

ArmInfo.  Russian Air Transport Agency extended  restrictions on flights to some airports in the south and in the central part of the country until April 13.

"Until April 13, 2022, 03:45 Moscow time, the temporary restriction  on flights to 11 Russian airports has been extended: Anapa, Belgorod,  Bryansk, Voronezh, Gelendzhik, Krasnodar, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov-on-  Don, Simferopol and Elista," said in a statement from the aviation  regulator.

At the same time, it is indicated that other airports in Russia,  including international ones, operate as usual.  Russian airlines can  organize the transportation of passengers through the airports of  Sochi, Volgograd, Mineralnye Vody, Stavropol and Moscow.

The flight restriction regime was first introduced on February 24,  the day the Russian military operation began, due to "the aggravation  of the situation around the situation in Ukraine." The flight zone  was recognized as unsafe for civil aircraft. The deadline is updated  regularly by the department. At the end of March, the restrictions  were extended until April 7.
