ArmInfo. In Armenia, the production of aluminum foil in January- February 2022 compared to the same period in 2021 decreased by 7.9% (against a 0.5% decline a year earlier), amounting to 5.389 thousand tons. This is evidenced by the data of the RA Statistical Committee.
According to statistics, in February alone, the production of aluminum foil decreased by 4.7% - up to 2.629 thousand tons.
It should be noted that 33,481 thousand tons of aluminum foil were produced in Armenia in 2021. Thus, for the fourth time, the Armenal plant exceeds the 30 thousandth milestone in terms of production of aluminum foil (in 2017 - 33.724 thousand tons, in 2019 - 30.547 thousand tons, in 2020 - 35.482 thousand tons, ed. note).
