ArmInfo.The Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia, having studied numerous applications and received alarms, revealed that "One Card" LLC which operates in Armenia, publicly attracts citizens' funds, proposing to double and return them with a certain "surcharge".
This is noted in the message of the Central Bank, in which the Central Bank warns citizens that One Card LLC does not have any license from the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia and it is very risky to trust such an organization with your funds.
"Since this organization, in fact, attracts funds from the general population, the Central Bank considered it necessary to notify citizens that the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia did not issue a license to One Card LLC to carry out any activity, and therefore the activity of this organization is not controlled by the Central Bank. For this reason, the Central Bank cannot control the risks posed by the activities of this organization, and also cannot ensure proper protection of the rights of clients, which means that citizens, entrusting their funds to such organizations, act recklessly and take a big risk," the Central Bank said in a statement. The Central Bank of Armenia has already applied to law enforcement agencies with a request to check possible violations and the legality of the actions of "One Card" LLC.
The Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia announces that the list of financial organizations licensed by the Central Bank is available on the official website of the Central Bank of Armenia.
