ArmInfo. Telecom Armenia is completing its rebranding process, which started with the purchase of Veon Armenia (Beeline brand).
According to the official report, on May 1, 2022, Beeline will be replaced by Team ?? Telecom Armenia, which will use its predecessor's extensive experience and actively implement its strategic development programmes.
Along with rebranding, the company has launched the construction of the Next Generation Network (NGN), using the 25G-PON technology. The NGN is now available in Yerevan's communities of Davtashen and Arabkir, in Kajaran, Jermuk and in the Gndevaz community. All the mobile stations throughout Armenia will soon be connected to the network, which will greatly improve the quality of mobile communication.
In recent months, Team has expanded the 4G coverage in 14 cities and towns, and in 65 other settlements.
Telecom Armenia CJSC (formerly VEON Armenia and Armentel) belongs to "TEAM" LLC, which was founded by Hayk and Alexander Yesayan. On October 29, 2020, TEAM LLC acquired 100% of the company's shares using credit funds.
