ArmInfo.The European Union constantly shares the challenges facing Armenia and is ready to continue to assist the government of the country. EU Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia Andrea Wiktorin stated this during a meeting with Armenian Finance Minister Tigran Khachatryan.
According to the Ministry, Ambassador Wiktorin presented the Minister with the details of the programs being implemented with the support of the EU in Armenia. At the same time, she expressed satisfaction with the government's efforts to strengthen and expand Armenia's cooperation with the EU.
Tigran Khachatryan, in turn, attached importance to the activities of the EU in Armenia. Presenting the macroeconomic situation of the country, the Minister referred to the possible risks and impact on the Armenian economy in the context of regional developments. During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on key issues, including the content and goals of the ongoing sectoral reforms and the implementation of the Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement.
