ArmInfo. Armenia's authorities are proposing a discount system in cashless transactions for pensioners, Premier Nikol Pashinyan stated on Friday.
This year Armenia has scaled up cashless pension transactions, and the authorities plans to restrict cash transactions. Therefore, the government plans to introduce discounts up to 10% for pensioners in card transactions.
The premier hopes many economic entities will support the initiative as an important component of social responsibility of business. The system will start operating this June.
