Team Telecom Armenia becomes technology partner of Koreez

ArmInfo. As part of its strategy aimed at promoting educational programs, Team Telecom Armenia is starting to cooperate with the annual Koreez Online School  Competition, becoming its technology partner. 

According to the press service of the company, Koreez is an online  subject competition in which students of 5-12 grades from all schools  in Armenia and Artsakh can take part, regardless of academic  performance.  By participating in Koreez, each student gets the  opportunity to test all the knowledge accumulated over the entire  academic year, compete with friends by completing a questionnaire  specially created for a specific age group, take part in the Armenian  educational "Oscar", increase the prestige of their own school in the  educational world, receive valuable prizes.

"The events of recent years have confirmed the indispensable role of  telecom in the field of education. I am glad that online lessons and  competitions are gradually finding their place in the education  system of Armenia, providing students of general education schools  with equal opportunities, regardless of their place of residence.  This initiative is in line with our strategic programs, both in terms  of education and providing access to high-speed Internet in regional  settlements," said Hayk Yesayan, CEO of Team Telecom Armenia.

According to the author of the project Suren Aloyan, the goal of  Koreez is to encourage the desire of each student for education, to  reveal talents, to make the educational process more interesting and  exciting. "Our tomorrow's heroes are educated people," he stressed.

According to the source, this year the winners will also receive  prizes from Team Telecom Armenia.

Earlier, on October 29, 2020, the deal for the acquisition of 100% of  the shares of Veon Armenia by the founders of Team Telecom Armenia,  the brothers Hayk and Alexander Yesayan, was completed. As a result,  one of the largest telecommunications companies in the country once  again became Armenian.
