Coordinated actions to develop economies, industrial cooperation to  enter third markets will help remove obstacles within EAEU - Nikol  Pashinyan

ArmInfo.Coordinated actions to develop economies and industrial cooperation to enter third markets will help remove obstacles within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU),  Armenia's Premier Nikol Pashinyan stated at a video-conference  meeting of thee Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.

"Our countries need to promptly adapt to the rapidly changing  external and internal conditions. It is necessary to outline the  strategic development of our Union after 2025, considering the  aforementioned factors," he said.

He called for setting ambitious tasks and developing cooperation in  new fields. Intensifying industrial cooperation, developing joint  production and implementing innovation projects, as well as  scientific and technological cooperation, will serve as links in the  "invention-production" chain.

Armenia's premier also highlighted the importance of reducing risks  posed by the unprecedented global economic challenges.

"We consider it advisable to develop pilot projects and implement  joint measures to expand our trade and economic cooperation. Steady  progress in the member-states requires constant cooperation with the  business community," he said.

In the context of international cooperation, Mr Pashinyan said:

"I would like to emphasize Armenia's interest in a comprehensive free  trade agreement between Iran and the EAEU. And the tentative  agreement has demonstrated the Iranian market is attractive and  prospects for further cooperation are available. We also want to  start negotiations on a free trade agreement between the EAEU and  Indonesia. We should continue broadening our international agenda for  both the Union members and their partners to see the results of  mutually beneficial cooperation," Armenia's premier said.
