Implementation of provisions of Roadmap for Armenian-French Economic  Cooperation for 2021-2026 was discussed in Yerevan

ArmInfo.. A meeting on the implementation of the provisions of the Roadmap for Armenian-French Economic Cooperation for 2021-2026 was held at the Armenian Foreign Ministry.

According to the RA MFA, RA Deputy Foreign Minister Paruyr  Hovhannisyan, chaired the event from the Armenian side and Ambassador  of France to Armenia Anne Louyot from the French side.

Welcoming the French delegation, Paruyr Hovhannisyan summed up the  bilateral work aimed at the implementation of the provisions of the  road map since the first joint sitting of the Armenian-French  Economic Cooperation Working Group held on December 9, 2021 in Paris.

In turn, the French Ambassador thanked for the help in organizing an  effective meeting, which will allow for clear discussions on the  priority areas of the roadmap.

During the discussions, the parties exchanged views on the sectoral  cooperation included in the Roadmap for Armenian-French Economic  Cooperation for 2021-2026, in particular, on the implementation of  programs in the field of infrastructure, construction of reservoirs,  innovation and high technology and healthcare. 

Issues related to the forum of the Armenian-French decentralized  cooperation, which will be held on June 29-30 in Lyon, were touched  upon. The parties stressed that the Armenian-French territorial self-  government bodies should contribute to the strengthening of economic  relations in accordance with the road map.

The interlocutors agreed to hold the next meeting on the  implementation of the provisions of the Roadmap for Armenian-French  Economic Cooperation for 2021-2026, in September-October 2022.
