ArmInfo.The heads of governments of the EAEU countries signed cooperation documents following the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Minsk, BelTA correspondent reports.
Thus, the main approaches for the implementation by the member states of the EAEU of measures to regulate the export of certain types of goods are determined. An instruction was given to establish and develop transport infrastructure in the territories of the Union countries in the East-West and North-South directions, including as part of the interface with the Chinese One Belt, One Road initiative.
The heads of government of the EAEU also approved a program of joint actions in the field of consumer protection. Another important document is the decree on the commission on cooperation and import substitution in priority and high-tech industries of the Union.
The instructions of the prime ministers also concern the work on the draft protocol on amending the Treaty on the EAEU in terms of the procedure for levying indirect taxes on electronic trade in goods sold to individuals.
In total, the heads of government signed 15 documents. The time and place of the next meeting was also approved - it will be held in August in Kyrgyzstan.
