The Eurasian Development Bank's Fund for Digital Initiatives (EDB FDI) has launched the "Jobs in the EAEU" mobile application, an online service platform to ensure one of the freedoms of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), namely, the freedom of movement of labor. Tigran Sargsyan, Deputy Chairman of the EDB Board, curator of the FDI, presented the possibilities of a digital solution during the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Minsk.
According to the press service of the Bank, the application created by the EDB FDI allows removing barriers of a technical, informational and service nature, creating better living and working conditions for EAEU citizens, facilitating access to national information services as much as possible, and creating an ecosystem of interaction between government and commercial digital services.
<Currently, "Jobs in the EAEU" services are provided within the Russian segment. In other words, citizens of the EAEU and CIS countries can receive government and commercial services when they are employed in Russia. Negotiations are also underway to launch similar application services in other EAEU countries>, Tigran Sargsyan noted.
Using the "Jobs in the EAEU" application, you can check restrictions on entry into the Russian Federation, check the TIN for foreign citizens, check the insurance experience in the Pension Fund of Russia, apply to the labor inspectorate, recognize educational documents, draw up and issue a labor patent. The ability to search and respond to vacancies posted on the Jobs in Russia portal has been configured. Implemented a service with a guide to employment. A list of legal acts of the Russian Federation regulating the procedures for legal employment and work of labor migrants has been compiled and implemented. A knowledge base has been introduced with questions and answers to the most popular questions on labor migration.
"Until the end of the year, we plan to include in the application the possibility of applying for SNILS, TIN and registration as a self-employed person," Tigran Sargsyan said.
In terms of commercial services, the implementation of a voluntary medical insurance policy, the search and rental of residential and commercial real estate, the search and purchase of air and railway tickets, and the purchase of a SIM card have been implemented. In the near future, it is planned to introduce new services, including notarized translation of documents, issuance of a bank card, and international money transfers.
