ArmInfo. Ameriabank is the main sponsor of the cyber security Hackathon and a partner of one of the largest tech events of the year, Tech Week 2022 (GTW). As the press service of the Bank told ArmInfo on July 7, this event took place in Gyumri on July 2-4.
Ameriabank, being the largest financial and technological institution of Armenia, which has been constantly investing in the latest technologies, developing ecosystems, joined the three-day techno-fest as a partner and main sponsor of the cyber security Hackathon.
"We are very pleased that Tech Week is being held in Gyumri, which has become a kind of symbol of technological development. This inspired us to directly participate in the technofest and assist in holding an event of such a scale and focus," said Elen Danielyan, Ameriabank's Head of Personal Financial Services and Card Department.
During the three-day GTW Technofest, Zhorzhik Grigoryan, Head of Digital Marketing at Ameriabank, delivered a speech introducing a customer-centric approach to problem solving. "Being customer-oriented and digital transformation-oriented, as well as investing in digital ecosystems, Ameriabank does not forget that a person is the central figure in any technology or innovation," he stressed.
Vahan Melkumyan, Head of the Development and Retraining Department of Ameriabank, presented the global labor market trends and Ameria's approaches in a discussion entitled "Technologies, the present and the labor market: gaps and opportunities " under the slogan " IT is not only about programmers ".
"In today's digital world, new security challenges arise on new platforms. Paying special attention to the security of customer data, we monitor daily and, investing in ecosystems, forecastt, evaluate and prevent all risks in advance," said Gnel Asatryan, Head of Information Security Department at Ameriabank, in context of the Ameriabank-sponsored cyber security Hackathon under GTW.
Ameriabank also took part in the job fair held at the Gyumri Drama Theater. During two days the visitors of the Tech Week had an opportunity to ask the Americans any questions they might have about the job vacancies or simply to taste delicious apples and sweets and try their hand at chess.
