More funds for government-sponsored medical services 

ArmInfo.Armenian's government has approved on Monday increased funding of government-sponsored medical services for 2022. 

Specifically, an additional AMD 11.9bln will be allocated to  Armenia's health sector from the government's reserve funds, with AMD  690mln intended for outpatient clinics, AMD 1bln for the Medical Aid  to Children programme, AMD 350mln for emergency medical aid and AMD  200mln for medical treatment of infectious diseases. 

Moreover, a total of AMD 1.7bln more will be allocated for treatment  of cancer and blood diseases, with AMD 6.580bln for medical services  to low-income population. A total of AMD 125mln will be allocated for  transplantation, and AMD 250mln for hemodialysis and peritoneal  dialysis. A total of AMD 100mln will be allocated for emergency heart  surgery. 

More funds will also be allocated for medical services to servicemen  and rescuers and their families, and for government agencies and  public servants - AMD 850mln and AMD 130mln.
