ArmInfo.Armenia's government has granted three companies' requests for exemption from customs duties on the import of manufacturing equipment, spare parts and raw materials under investment programmes in priority fields. The requests were submitted by the MULTI FOOD, DOLOMITI and DIGI PROPERTY companies.
The MULTI FOOD company (founded in 2016) plans the construction of an up-to-date hothouse for rose growing in Gegharkunik, with 90% of the products to be exported to Russia.
The company has invested a total of AMD 25mln. The investments are expected to total AMD 2.2bln, with 50 jobs to be created and the average monthly wages to be AMD 150,000.
DOLOMITI LTD (founded in 2022), too, plans the construction of an up-to-date hothouse for rose growing in an area of 3 hectares in Aragatsotn. The company has invested AMD 200mln, with the investment project estimated at AMD 2.8bln. The company plans to create 60 jobs, with average monthly wages to be AMD 120,000.The company plans to export its products to the Eurasian Economic Union member-states.
DIGI PROPERTY LTD plans the construction is an IT center at 13/12 Isakov street, Yerevan. A total of 1,300 to 1,500 people are expected to be employed by the startups that will rent the offices.
The investment project is estimated at AMD 3bln. The company will employ up to 55 people with average monthly wages reaching AMD 377,000.
