ArmInfo. A new government-assisted employment programme is being launched in Armenia. Under the programme, employers will receive compensations for hiring currently unemployed people.
The government will pay AMD 250,000 compensations to employers signing employment contracts with currently unemployed residents for at least one year, and AMD 350,000 for employment contracts with people on the dole.
Among the beneficiaries are unemployed registered by the Social Security Service, as well as people over 35 who have been unemployed for three months.
Employers can apply for participation online as well.
