ArmInfo. The Eurasian Economic Union for the Republic of Armenia justified itself in this particular situation. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at the  plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok.

"A very good dynamic has been registered in the economy of Armenia.  This year, we aim for at least 7 percent economic growth," he said.

In this context, Pashinyan stressed that the Eurasian Economic Union  for the RA has justified itself in this particular situation. As the  prime minister explained, the growth that is planned in Armenia is  associated with the freedoms that the EAEU provides - the free  movement of goods, services, capital and labor. We see this and, of  course, we need to work on the next stage in order to maintain  momentum, so that a new crisis does not arise after such an  increase>, he noted.

In H1 2022, Armenia ensured a significant increase in the volume of  trade with the EAEU countries According to the RA Statistical  Committee, the share of the EAEU countries in Armenia's foreign trade  turnover continues to grow, reaching 33.6% (over $1.733 billion) by  the end of H1 2022 and increasing by 52. 5% compared to the same  period last year. Leadership in foreign trade turnover is held by  Russia with a volumeof $1.651 billion in H1 2022, with an  acceleration of  y-o-y growth from 16% to 50.1%. Russia also retains  its leadership in exports and imports - $542.8 million and $1.1  billion, respectively, with an acceleration in the growth of both  -exports from 36% to 48.4% and imports from 8.1% to 51%. The volume  of trade turnover for January-June 2022 with Belarus amounted to  $58,972.6 thousand, (a 2-fold increase compared to the six months of  2021) with Kazakhstan - $21,590.2 thousand (a 3.1-fold increase),  with Kyrgyzstan amounted to $1,891.1 thousand (an increase of 52%).
