ArmInfo. The 2nd meeting of the Investment Committee was held under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister of Armenia.
According to the press service of the government, during the meeting, the participants discussed an investment program to create a system for forecasting and early warning of dangerous hydrometeorological phenomena, the total cost of which is estimated at 3.86 billion drams. As part of the program, it is planned to purchase 3 Doppler radars, which will be able to forecast heavy rains, hail, hurricane winds, thunderstorms, etc. with great accuracy.
The government also discussed an investment program worth 589 million drams for the modernization of the Republican Scientific and Medical Library. It is planned to repair the administrative building of the library, purchase equipment and software. Lastly, the meeting participants discussed the investment program related to the "Armenian Bus Station" CJSC worth 5.8 billion drams. Within the framework of the program, it is planned to reconstruct 26 bus station complexes of the "Armenian Bus Station" CJSC and build a new bus station in Yerevan. The Prime Minister attached importance to the effective implementation of investment capital programs that will contribute to the development of communities, improve the quality of services provided to citizens and solve other problems. At the same time, he instructed to finalize these programs and submit them for consideration to the government, taking into account the recommendations presented during the discussions.
