ArmInfo.Deputy Chairman of SRC Ashot Muradyan paid a working visit to the Republic of Belarus, during which he had a three-party official meeting with Chairman of State Customs Committee of Belarus Vladimir Orlovsky and Chairman of State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan Daniyar Zhanalinov.
According to the press service of the State Revenue Committee of Armenia, during the meeting, the parties discussed a number of customs issues representing common interest, and outlined potential areas of future cooperation. Particularly, a number of issues concerning applying navigation seals during transportation of goods via customs territory of EAEU member states were discussed. The leaders also visited the center for customs clearance of the Belarusian Customs Service "Beltamozhservice" which is the largest state logistics operator of Belarus with over 20 years of experience.
The parties reached an agreement to jointly study Belarus' experience in operation of mobile customs checkpoints as well as to look at and discuss the possibilities of implementing similar checkpoints in Armenia.
