
ArmInfo. In January-August 2022, industrial production in the EAEU grew by 0.8% year-on-year, providing a volume of $1,056 billion, the press service of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) reports.
Production in mining and quarrying increased by 2.2%, in electricity supply, gas, steam and air conditioning - by 0.3%, in water supply, sewerage, control over the collection and distribution of waste, output decreased by 4.8%; in the manufacturing industry remained at the level of January - August 2021 (an increase of 5.4%). An increase in industrial production was observed in all EAEU countries, with the exception of Belarus. In particular, an 18.2% increase was recorded in Kyrgyzstan, 9.2% in Armenia, 2.5% in Kazakhstan, 0.9% in Russia, and 6.6% in Belarus.
