ArmInfo. Armenia's government will grant tax benefits to the Multi Tobacco company owned by Gagik Tsarukyan, Chairman of the Prosperous Armenia party. The company will be exempted from duties on the import of manufacturing equipment and spare parts, raw materials under an investment programme in a priority field.
The Multi Tobacco company (founded in Kotayk province in 2019) plans to import raw materials for tobacco production and invest AMD 59bln in fixed and circulating assets. The company plans to export 80% of its products.
Under the investment programme the company plans to create 100 jobs with average monthly wages reaching AMD 350,000.
The company applied for AMD 162.6bln tax benefits and will be exempted from customs duties totaling AMD 16.5bln.
