ArmInfo.Goods imported to Armenia will be liable to excise tax. Armenia's Parliament has discussed relevant amendments to the Tax Code on Thursday.
Armenia's Deputy Minister of Finance Arman Poghosyan said that in exporting the same goods economic entities will be reimbursed for the excise taxes paid for a number of products. The excise tax will be applied to the goods in the country of consumption. The new bill allows the government to approve the cases of reimbursement of excise tax, and economic entities will enjoy the right not to stick excise stamps on the imported goods liable to export later.
