ArmInfo.The Ministry of Economy is preparing a program for IT companies operating in Armenia, which will be aimed at overcoming the difficulties associated with the appreciation of the dram. Minister of Economy of Armenia Vahan Kerobyan stated this during an interview with the Public Television of Armenia.
"Two months ago we put into circulation a bill that is being discussed very intensively. I think that by the end of this week the program will be adopted," he said.
In the long term, the Ministry sees a solution to the problem in the provision of tax incentives. However, taxes, according to Kerobyan, are not the only problem. In this regard, he recalled the developed action program, which consists of 35 steps, some of which have already been implemented. The minister noted that the ultimate goal of such a program is to transform Yerevan into a city that would be an attractive place to live for creative people involved in technology and innovation.
