ArmInfo.RA Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan received Martin Eurnekian, Chief Executive Officer of Corporacion America Airports. The meeting was also attended by Marcelo Wende, ъ Chief Executive Officer at "Armenia" International Airports" CJSC, and company's General Manager Sergey Avetisyan.
According to the Press Service of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, during the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister noted the importance of the Eurnekian family's investments for Armenia, stressing that the Government highly appreciates the idea of further development and expansion of the projects implemented by the company in Armenia.
Martin Eurnekian noted that the company is proud of all the investments made in Armenia and expressed readiness to continue their expansion, within the framework of the priorities agreed with the government.
It should be noted that the concessionaire of the Armenian "Zvartnots" and "Gyumri" airports is the Argentine Corporacion America company, the ultimate beneficiary of which is the well-known Argentine businessman of Armenian origin Eduardo Eurnekian . At the end of 2018, the Armenian government approved the master plan for Yerevan (Zvartnots) and Gyumri (Shirak) airports for 2018-2022 presented by Corporacion America. According to the document, the company undertook to invest over 30 million euros in the development of the country's two largest international air harbors.
