ArmInfo.Vahagn Mesropyan, the head of the Armenian company "Alfa Group" representing the "CardMaster" brand in our country, which specializes in the production of blanks for bank cards, decided to significantly increase his business reputation by plagiarizing banking analytical materials from the ArmInfo information company.
The bulletin "Armenian banks in the card business" was the basis for the "own analysis" of the Armenian market of plastic cards published in the Moscow PLUS magazine on September 26. All the main analytical calculations in Mesropyan's article are taken from this bulletin, even the author's specific manner of presenting the text.
Considering the fact that Mr. Mesropyan manages a fairly successful company that sells "card raw material products " to commercial banks, ArmInfo specialists cannot understand the motives of such primitive behavior, which are incompatible both with the basic rules of business ethics and with the practice of gross violation of intellectual property rights.
ArmInfo released its 26th bulletin "Armenian banks in the card business" today. This is 13 years of continuous analytical work, serious calculations and forecasts in this area. The agency hopes that commercial banks that acquire this analysis through bilateral agreements will take their information security system more seriously and cover the leaks of proprietary information, leaks leading to elementary theft aimed at appropriating someone else's Goodwill, unprocessed by their own intellect. After all, these are bank cards, not playing cards!
