This is reported by the Tourism Committee of Armenia. According to the source, 46% of tourists who visited the RA in the first month of the new year are citizens of the Russian Federation, 11% - citizens of Georgia, 4% - Iran, 3% - the United States, 1% - Germany, etc. Mostly, citizens aged 36 to 63 years old (48%) arrived in Armenia for recreation, 25% are citizens of the age category 26-35 years old, 12% - up to 12 years old, 10% - from 18 to 25 years old and 5% - above 64 years old.
In 2022, 1.67 million tourists visited Armenia, which exceeded the figure of a year ago 2-fold.
