
ArmInfo. According to the estimates by experts of the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), private money transfers to Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan totaled $2.6bln last year - a 1.9-fold growth as compared with 2021.
Money transfers to Armenia totaled $5.2bln (a 2.5-fold growth), to Kazakhstan, $1.5bln (a 2.2-fold growth), to Uzbekistan, $16.9bln (a 2.1-fold growth), to Kyrgyzstan, $2.9bln (a 6.2% growth).
The net inflow of money transfers to Armenia showed a 2.3-fold growth. Percentagewise, the share of money transfers in Armenia grew from 6.4% to 13.2%. Last year, money transfers to Armenia totaled $3.6bln.
