ArmInfo. The U.S. is interested in developing cooperation with Armenia in the technological field. This was stated during the meeting of the Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia Robert Khachatryan with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States to Armenia, Mrs. Kristina Alyson Kvien.
According to the press service of the Ministry, Ambassador Kvien expressed her readiness to promote the development of cooperation between Armenia and the United States in the technological field. During the meeting, they discussed the prospects for cooperation in the field of space technologies, the development of a startup ecosystem, the 5G network, business opportunities for industry companies, as well as the implementation of educational and research programs. The interlocutors expressed their readiness to make every effort to fully realize the potential of bilateral sectoral cooperation, attaching importance in this regard to mutual visits to deepen cooperation.
It is reported that within the framework of the meeting, Robert Khachatryan presented to the guest the programs implemented by the Ministry, in particular the "Engineering City" program, as well as the work of the department aimed at developing the National Venture Fund, the ecosystem of startups, space activities and digitalization.
