ArmInfo. Digitalization and seamlessness of the North-South ITC will lay the foundation for technological standards in Greater Eurasia, thereby playing a significant integration role. This was stated by Tigran Sargsyan, Deputy Chairman of the EDB Management Board, speaking at the "Technological Alliances in Greater Eurasia" plenary session within the framework of the Russia-India Business Forum: Strategic Partnership for Development and Growth.

As part of his speech, Tigran Sargsyan touched upon a wide range of issues regarding the prospects for India's cooperation not only with Russia but also with other member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The Deputy Chairman of the EDB Board also noted that the building of new supply chains in the region and the growth of trade between India and the EAEU member states create quite serious prospects not only to bring the trade relations of the parties to a new level, but also to actively introduce the technological and digital segment into the structure of economic cooperation.

In his speech, the Deputy Chairman of the EDB Board emphasized the Bank's interest in developing both digital services for transport corridors and the transport infrastructure itself, noting the important role of the EDB in creating the Eurasian transport framework. 

It should be noted that as part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum's foreign events programme, the Russia-India Business Forum: Strategic Partnership for Development and Growth will be held in the Indian capital, New Delhi, on 29-30 March.  The purpose of the Forum is to discuss opportunities for creating high-tech alliances in different areas: IT, cybersecurity, industry and manufacturing, smart cities, transport, logistics and healthcare, and to support Russian companies as they refocus on new markets.  Forum organizers: the Roscongress Foundation, the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow City Government, the Russian Export Center, the Technological Sovereignty Exports Association, the RUSSOFT Non-Commercial Partnership of Software Developers, the Global Council of Innovation and Industry (GCII), the Invest India National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency, the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) and Business Council for Cooperation with India.
