ArmInfo.Chairman of the State Revenue Committee of Armenia (SRC) Rustam Badasyan received Ann K. Ganzer, the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary (PDAS) in the Bureau of International Security and Nonproliferation at the Department of State. According to the source, the parties discussed issues related to the modernization of the risk system in the customs area. The necessity of equipping customs offices with modern equipment for customs inspection and drug detection under the Export Control and Border Security (EXBS) program was emphasized. In the context of comprehensive reforms of the system, Rustam Badasyan presented the main key provisions outlined with other international partners in the tax and customs fields. At the end of the meeting, Anne Genzer highly appreciated the level of working relations between the parties and the joint efforts aimed at strengthening the Armenian-American relations.
