Armenia`s economy minister visits Solara company

ArmInfo.Armenia's Minister of Economy Vahan Kerodyan on Wednesday the Solara company, one of  Armenia's leading solar energetics companies. 

Accompanied by Founder CEO Hayk Petrosyan, Mr Kerobyan was shown  round the production facilities and was informed of the company's  investment programmes. 

The company exports its products to the U.S., Uzbekistan and other  countries. 

The company was founded in 2019 and is now one of the industry  leaders. The company's progress is thanks to the extensive experience  of USA-based La Solar Group. The Solara company is La Solar Group's  strategic partner in Armenia.

Last May, Armenia's government approved the Solara company's  application for an investment project.  The company purchased 23sq  meters of land to construct a plant for the production of aluminum  profiles "CONSTAL" in Kotayk, Armenia. The company specializes in  producing aluminum frames and parts for solar panels.

The investments in the plant totaled $15mln, with 200 jobs created.
