ArmInfo.Ambassador of France to Armenia Anne Louyot met with President of the "ROM selection" company Bernard Delabre and the company's Program Manager Francois Tahon.
According to the press service of the French Embassy, the company, based in the Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes region, wants to deepen its technical cooperation with Armenia in order to improve sheep breeding in the country,iIn particular, through the export and adaptation of white sheep from the Central French massif (le Massif Central). The Ambassador expressed her readiness to support cooperation.
According to the RA Statistical Committee, as of January 1, 2023, there are 680,410 sheep in the country with a y-o-y decrease of 1.5%.
