Armenia`s state treasury revenues from leasing of state property  increased by 67.7% in 2022

ArmInfo.In 2022, as a result of the privatization of the state share of 3 commercial organizations, 17  real estate units and 102 cars were alienated.

As a result, 8.9 billion drams were transferred to the state budget (410% more than in 2021). Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures Gnel Sanosyan announced this on May 11 at a meeting of the Government  of the Republic of Armenia, presenting a draft decision "On the  approval of the annual report for 2022 on the implementation of the  state property management program for 2021-2023".

<Last year, property worth a total of 20.7 billion drams was  alienated. But there are properties that have been sold with a 5-year  payment schedule, and as a result of this, the money will be in the  coming years. In return for this condition, the companies promised to  invest more than 83 billion drams and provide additional jobs,"  Sanosyan said.

The minister also informed that during the reporting period, 16 state  institutions located on private territories, on a lease basis, were  provided with premises. As a result of the process, the total amount  of rent paid from the state budget will be reduced by about 60%.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, in turn, noted that in 2022, the  amounts received from the lease of state property increased by 67.7%.
