Ozon launches sales of goods from Russia for residents of Armenia

ArmInfo. The Ozon marketplace  has opened access for residents of Armenia to purchase goods from  Russia. Forbes reports with reference to the press service of the  company.

Buyers can order almost the entire range of the Russian marketplace,  and order goods through the delivery of Omni Logistics, Ozon said.

"The big advantage of marketplaces lies in the wide range, the choice  of goods on a virtual storefront is much wider than in a regular  retail store," Ozon's operating director in the CIS Alexei Sapon,  said. "We want to strengthen our infrastructure in the country so  that even residents of the most remote corners of Armenia can order  online and choose goods from a diverse range," he said. The  marketplace opened sales in Armenia of 196 million product names in  more than 20 categories: from books and clothing to food or health  products, Ozon reported. You can get them through a courier service  or Omni Logistics pick-up points. The average delivery time for goods  is about 7 days. Ozone's future plans include developing its  logistics infrastructure in Armenia, including its own delivery  service.
