This was stated by Director of the Rusatom - International Network office in Armenia, Mikhail Turundaev, speaking at the "Digital transformation of industrial enterprises: new business models and technologies" strategic session.
He noted that the project is a component of an agreement signed more than a year ago - a comprehensive plan for the development of Armenian-Russian relations.
According to Turundaev, Yerevan Municipality expressed interest in the Smart City project, in particular, one of its components related to urban traffic management.
<It can be very difficult here during rush hours, especially at large interchanges. The capital's mayor's office became interested in how all this can be implemented, how to optimize work through the introduction of such digital solutions>, said the Rusatom Armenia regional office Haed.
In addition, he spoke about the initiative to build a DPC (data processing center) in Armenia, which is being discussed with the Ministry of High-Tech Industry. < The question is whether it will be a large republican data center or a series of distributed data centers, which will be gradually introduced in the cities of the Republic of Armenia, with redundancy, etc. We also have such products. Rosatom is the largest developer of data centers in Europe>, he stressed.
It should be noted that the "Digital Transformation of Industrial Enterprises: New Business Models and Technologies" strategic session is being held in Armenia at the initiative of the " "Center for strategic development of Republic of Armenia" Foundation, the Ministry of Economy of the RA and the ANO "Digital Economy" (the main platform for interaction between business and the state for the development of digital Economy in Russia) and is aimed at identifying trends and prospects for the introduction of digital technologies and platform solutions in industrial enterprises.
