ArmInfo. "Mets Masrik" LLC will receive a license for electricity production at "Arev" solar power plant. The decision to issue a license was made at the July 19 session of the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC).
According to the rationale for the draft decision of the PSRC, the Arev solar power plant will be put into operation on July 20, 2025. It is from this period that the application of the provisions of the license will begin, which will be valid until July 20, 2045. A new solar energy facility is being built in the village of Mets Masrik, Vardenis community, Gegharkunik region of the republic. According to the provisions of the license, the station will be able to sell the electricity it produces on the domestic market of the country, as well as export it abroad in accordance with the rules of the market. The licensee undertakes to submit a positive conclusion on the plant construction project to the PSRC, no later than July 20, 2024.
