
ArmInfo. The own income of the communities of Syunik region in 2022 was planned at the level of 2 billion 992 million drams, but the actual figures totaled more than 3 billion drams. The actual increase compared to 2021 totaled 344.6 million drams or 12.8%. This was announced to the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan on August 17 in the Syunik regional administration, presenting a report on the activities of the regional governor's office for 2022.
It was reported that, 109 subvention programs worth 21.8 billion drams were approved in the region in 2018-2022, of which the state's share was 12.9 billion drams. 24 subsidy programs were approved intotal 6.6 billion drams in 2023, of which the state's share was 4.1 billion drams. In 2024, it is planned to implement 30 projects worth 11 billion drams, of which the state's share will be 6.5 billion drams.
Summing up the meeting, Prime Minister Pashinyan stressed that since 2018, the government has implemented investment projects worth more than 100 billion drams in Syunik region. Nikol Pashinyan emphasized the importance of ensuring the constant growth of the communities' own incomes and the volume of subsidized programs.
