"Despite the difficult external economic situation, as you noted, Russian trade and economic ties with Armenia are growing stronger, trade is growing, and this pleases us, and there is also the effect of Armenia's participation in the Eurasian Economic Union," the Russian prime minister said, adding, that the parties are progressively building up cooperation in the field of energy, the peaceful atom, in the mining industry, in transport logistics, "there are a number of projects in high technologies, in digital form."
The business missions that regularly come to Armenia have an impact on the overall economic development. "We propose to accelerate work in all our joint directions in the field of investment projects and in the field of economic development. It is also extremely important to continue to expand the use of national currencies in our common projects in mutual trade. I am sure that this will contribute to the growth of trade and its diversification," the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation said.
