ArmInfo. Revenue of the Armenian communications sector in January-August 2023 amounted to 105.3 billion drams, modestly accelerating in y-o-y growth from 4.5% to 5.1%, according to the data of the RA Statistical Committee.
According to statistical data, of the total revenue received, the lion's share is provided by the telecommunications sector - 91.8% or 96.7 billion drams, with a slight slowdown in y-o-y growth from 6.1% to 5%.
Moreover, for August 2023 alone, total revenue in the communications sector decreased by 2.7% to 13.7 billion drams, of which 12.6 billion drams were provided by the telecommunications sector, with a monthly decline of 2.4%.
As a comparison, we note that in January-August 2022, the revenue of the communications sector in Armenia exceeded 100 billion drams, of which 91.9% or over 92 billion drams were provided by the telecommunications sector.
