ArmInfo. In order to discuss issues related to prefabricated residential buildings, the Urban Planning Committee held a meeting with organizations with such experience.
According to the Committee's press service, the meeting was attended by representatives of Armenian and Iranian companies that produce, import and sell structures using new technologies. The leadership of the Committee was interested in the production capacity, potential and duration of work during the construction of houses. A more detailed study of the capabilities of companies operating in this area will allow us to estimate how much prefabricated structures can be provided with available resources, within what time frame and within what financial costs.
For this purpose, various technological solutions and proposals were considered. In particular, they discussed the use of thin-walled steel frames, 3D panels (shotcrete method), and precast reinforced concrete. In the case of all decisions, the need to ensure the longevity of the expected result was indicated.
The meeting participants spoke in detail about the organization of construction of prefabricated structures, expressed their views on solving the proposed problem, and presented ideas for joint organization of work. It was decided that in the near future they will submit their calculations and justifications to the RA Urban Planning Committee.
