
ArmInfo.A creative center, Crelab, has opened in the village of Dzoragyugh, Kotayk region, which will facilitate the employment of women in the regions, expand their opportunities and further development.
According to the press service of the Fashion & Design Chamber (FDC), the center opened as part of a program to empower women to develop social innovation and creativity in Shirak, Kotayk and Tavush regions - Labs for Change.
This program is being implemented thanks to the assistance of the government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the cooperation of the Chamber of Fashion and Design of Armenia with Impuct Hub and the Made Well workshop in Dilijan.
As part of the program, creative centers will be opened in these areas, where opportunities will be created for women and youth in the context of developing professional knowledge, entrepreneurial skills, creating profitable products, and developing creative thinking.
The program sets itself the task of identifying the causes of low economic activity and women's involvement, eliminating barriers in this regard, promoting job creation and poverty reduction.
Crelab creative center was opened at building 11, 41, Aygebasht district, Dzorakhbyur. A similar center was opened in Shirak region in September.
